design shows, tiles can be beautiful as well as being
very practical. They can take frequent wetting and extreme changes in temperature, and they are very strong, making them an ideal building material.
Glazing is an extremely popular finish,
and glazed tiles are used decoratively as well as practically in kitchens as work surfaces, as exterior waterproof tiles, as decoration for mosaics, as cups, saucers, toilet bowls, and so on.
