What were theropods? Theropods were hunting dinosaurs.

A theropod.

Theropods were hunting dinosaurs. Tyrannosaurus rex was a hunting dinosaur - a theropod.

Theropods mostly walked upright and had three toes, while grazing dinosaurs such as the sauropods had five toes.
