The Sermon on the Mount is a collection of sayings and teachings of Jesus found in the Gospel of Matthew chapters 5, 6 and 7.

The Sermon is the longest piece of teaching from Jesus in the New Testament. It includes the Beatitudes, and the Lord's Prayer. To many Christians, this is the most important part of the New Testament with regard to how Christians should behave.
